Highly revered as a reliable specialist in handling complex clinical cases by many renowned sub-specialty clinicians in oncology, urology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonary medicine, internal medicine, and general surgery from local and regional academic institutions and private practices. A true motivator and mentor for many young generation radiologists towards their development and growth. Along with a wide array of medical experience in radiology, he has a strong acumen for technology and research. She has wide interests including advising and consulting on emerging technologies, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and integration among radiology, teleradiology, digital technology, deep learning, and computing platforms.
Experience: • 35+ years of experience in CT and MRI imaging, with a passion for energizing individuals & organizations towards continual improvement. • Served as Chief Radiologist for more than 28 years in a high volume (12, 000 MRIs per year) private diagnostic center in Chandigarh, India serving a catchment area with population of ~95 million. • Developed and successfully operationalized multiple MRI projects up to INR 70 million, including technical, logistical, budgetary, and protocol-related activities, transitioning the practice from 0.3T to 1.5T to 3T MRI machines. • Trained 50+ doctors and technical professionals to conduct, post-process, and interpret radiology studies, and develop reporting platforms for teleradiology. • Currently associated with more than 8 Indian and international teleradiology projects including second opinion forums.
